JASON
MAXLOW
Nyania Stone $1,800
This standing stone represents the Darling Scarp and symbolises
the
extensive quarrying which occurred to make way for the steam
trains
and the quest for resources. The spring fed Nyania Brook
snakes its way
down the mountain in the form of a winding pipe line. |
JASON MAXLOW
Mil-mec-ine $1,200
WWI and WW2 saw the Midland Rail workshops transformed into
factories of war. The majestic Jarrah forests were clear felled
at an
alarming rate to fuel the fires. |
JASON MAXLOW
Mill Hound $ 450
Made from recycled relics of the local timber industry, the Mill
Hound
“Bungie” is a faithful old companion. |

JASON MAXLOW
Stone Piercing $ 800
It would take a brave soul to wear this giant piece of jewellery
as a
Prince Albert.
|
JASON MAXLOW
Celtic Cube $2,100
A quarried Laterite stone cube and three rolled steel rings are
combined
into a knotted puzzle utilising the ball and socket joint in
a tantalising
exploration of form.
|
JASON MAXLOW
Duality $1,400
The levitating cube seems to challenge the space between it and
the
foundation stone as gravity and the minds eye attempt to crush
them
together. However, the visual strength of the steel circle repels
them
and gives balance.

JASON MAXLOW
Apex $ 700
Displaced building block poised on the brink. |

JASON MAXLOW
Invert $ 900
We are always encouraged to look outside the square, how about
seeing inside for a change?
|
JASON MAXLOW
Unfurl - outside entrance $9,000
Like the unfurling of a frond the spiral arms open out exposing
the new
bloom to the elements.
