About Riseborough Estate
Riseborough Estate is a winery and art gallery located in Western Australia and has been specialising in red wines since planting their first vine in 1998. The winery extends over twenty acres and produces some of the finest red wines in the region. Due to their expertise and experience, Riseborough Estate has received multiple awards, including Gold Medal and Trophy winning Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Additionally, local specialties including gourmet cheeses, tappenade, dukkah, oils, and olives, are available in the gift shop to compliment the wines available.
Due to their location on a hilltop just one hour outside of Perth, Riseborough Estate offers the most stunning views of the valleys in Gingin. Situated on Peterson Rise, the winery connects the historic towns of Gingin and Bindoon and additionally links up to the Chittering Valley Wine Trail.
Riseborough Estate Wines
Growing the finest grapes in the mild climate of Gingin ensures maximum flavour in every drop. They are then transformed into exceptional quality red wines since Riseborough Estate works with Flying Fish Cove in Margaret River. Consequently, the pair have been able to produce their award winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and their outstanding Merlot Cabernet blend. The winery also produces smaller quantities of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Verdellho from locally grown fruit.

“Complex caramelly development showing on the nose and a fleshy/fruit tarry tannin palate.” Winestate Magazine, 2007
“A lovely, elegant and oaky style! Lifted aromas of dark berries with nuances of violets. Palate is rich with distinctive ripe tannins and a lingering, hot finish.” Winestate Magazine, 2007
